Bad breath or halitosis is a problem of most people. It is indeed embarrassing to date the girl or boy of your dream while having a “garlic-like” smell in your mouth. Perhaps, that would be the first and last date you’ll have with the person. No matter how good-looking you are. When the smell stinks and so is the over-all aura. It may sound unfair, but it’s true. You must stop bad breath in order to maintain a good relationship.
Many people think that bad breath is caused by an individual’s failure to brush his teeth properly. This notion of the general public caused many toothpaste manufacturers to release different kinds of toothpastes. However, scientists have proven that the cause of bad breath is primarily the tongue. The tongue is the moistest part of the mouth and it is the favorite hiding place for bacteria. With this, many mint gargle products have also invaded the market. The problem is, most of these products are rather expensive and chemical based.

This, instead of toothpaste can have even better results.
2. Peppermint – All mints are known to stop bad breath However, Peppermint is the one considered to be the best since its chemical composition is generally safer for the tongue.
3. Witch Hazel – Bacteria are the main roots of bad breath. Therefore, you need a remedy that can fight most of these bacteria and germs. Witch hazel can stop bad breath and seal the deal!
4. Seeds – Seeds maybe really small but they are perfect for a stinky mouth. It’s good to chew or bite fennel seeds or anise seeds. They can certainly make the breath fresh. Southeast Asian love to chew anise as it is also capable of making teeth stronger.
Following these steps too will help you avoid getting tonsil stones or tonsillitis, for they too have been proven to be one of the main causes of halitosis or bad breath and may even lead to other complications in the long run.
