Focusing Your Thoughts in a Positive Way –

“If you do not attract what you want to be, you will be what you are, FOREVER.” – Ankur Sancheti

Our present life is a reflection of our past thoughts. This is what the Law of Attraction (LOA) says. Perhaps some of us don’t relate to LOA or maybe we don’t believe it, but I think the truth is that it manifests in our lives every day.

Think about when something bad happens in the morning: I wake up late. I get mad because of that. I spill my coffee on my dress. I almost have an accident on the freeway. I arrive late to the office. My boss is mad at me. I can’t find my pencil. I miss my lunch. When I’m ready to leave work, my car doesn’t start. And so on… It is a chain of bad events happening just because of one little mistake I make in the morning. And vice versa; if we start our morning in a happy way, good things happen to us throughout the day.

There are a lot of ways to focus your thoughts in a positive way. For instance, Abraham Hicks gives us the Focus Wheeling Process: Draw a circle on a piece of paper, and a little circle in the middle. Divide the “wheel” into 12 parts. Write down a positive statement (a desire) in the center of the wheel (like, Success in my life and business). Then, write 12 positive affirmations that support the statement you wrote in the center of your wheel.

Make them flow easily (I enjoy my work, I have support from my family, I felt so good when I got my first customer, I have a lot of good people around me, I can see myself as an example of a successful woman…) As soon as you finish writing your 12 affirmations, look at your desire in the center of your wheel and make a statement corresponding to the way you feel – at this moment – regarding your desire (I’m a successful and happy woman now!). Write it down around your first statement. Sit and visualize your affirmation for a while. Feel it and make it real. Repeat this process every day and start to live the life you want for you.

As I always say, be aware of your thoughts every day. Negative thoughts attract negative or bad things, positive thoughts attracts positive things. So, the next time you awake late, focus your mind in positive things (Thank God I’m alive!) and call your boss to say, “I am a little late today. Don’t worry, I will do my best to finish my work on time.”
